Spent a night and day on Vieques Island off the East coast of the main island. Much more rustic and relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of San Juan.

Considering Puerto Rico doesn't even vote in the general election, there sure were a lot of political signs around.

Welcome to Hell!!

The guy in the pictures is the guy behind the "Hell" thing. I think his name is Willie Farrington. A native Cayman Islander and former merchant marine, he's now a millionaire.

All mail sent from here get a postmark of "Hell".

I went to Hell! there is actually a tiny town here called "Hell". There's nothing here but a gift shop, post office, and a gas station.

The key Lime pie was sooo good! Fresh and tangy with a sprig of mint and strawberry. Delicious!!

Having dinner at Fisherman's Reef, an excellent restaurant feature "celebrity Chef Ottmer" with Bob and Kris, a nice couple from San Diego.

It was really hot that day -- the hottest so far of my trip. Luckily this was easily cured with a refreshing shave ice cone.
